United Kingdom, Sept. 30 -- OpenAI is reportedly preparing to launch a standalone social app for its video generation model Sora 2.

According to WIRED, documents show the app features a vertical video feed with swipe-to-scroll navigation, closely resembling TikTok - except all content is AI-generated.

A For You-style page will reportedly be powered by a recommendation algorithm, while a side menu lets users like, comment, or remix clips.

The supposed app would allow people to generate short AI videos of up to 10 seconds using Sora 2, with no option to upload footage from their camera roll.

One of its most distinctive features is said to be identity verification, allowing users to confirm their likeness.
