United Kingdom, Oct. 15 -- Apple has officially unveiled the M5 MacBook Pro and M5 iPad Pro.

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro, revealed alongside the updated iPad Pro, marks Apple's most significant notebook upgrade since the M3 series.

The M5 chip - built on an advanced 3-nanometre process - delivers up to 3.5x faster CPU performance and 1.6x better graphics than its predecessor, according to Apple.

The Cupertino-based company says the machine also features improved battery life, lasting up to 24 hours on a single charge.
