United Kingdom, Nov. 4 -- Apple's overhaul of Siri will reportedly "lean" on Google's Gemini AI model to power advanced conversational and search capabilities.

While Apple and Google have long collaborated on search - with Google paying Apple billions annually to remain Safari's default engine - Bloomberg has claimed the two tech giants have reached a new arrangement that will expand into the core of Apple's AI strategy.

The upgraded Siri, launching alongside Apple's new smart home devices later in 2026, will supposedly use Gemini to process web queries and context-aware tasks such as summarsing information, managing schedules, and generating responses that go far beyond Siri's current limitations.
