United Kingdom, July 16 -- Apple has reportedly selected Samsung Display to manufacture the screens for its first foldable iPhone.
According to reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is working with Samsung Display to supply panels for "a foldable iPhone and iPad project", which is said to be scheduled for a 2026 launch.
While Apple has not confirmed the development of any foldable devices, Kuo's supply chain sources have historically proven accurate when forecasting Apple's hardware roadmap.
CNET reports that the foldable iPhone could resemble a hybrid between a smartphone and tablet, featuring a screen size of around seven to eight inches when unfolded.
