United Kingdom, May 2 -- A "majority" of Apple iPhones sold in the US will not come from China due to the impacts of President Donald Trump's trade tariffs.

The American technology titan's CEO Tim Cook has said they will come from India instead, and almost all iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and AirPod products will be sourced from Vietnam.

However, devices sold outside of the US will continue to be manufactured in China.

Cook said President Trump's escalating trade war is having a limited impact on its 2025 performance so far, and he expects US tariffs to cost $900 million in the current quarter.

The 64-year-old Apple boss said on an earnings call: "[We expect] a majority of iPhones sold in the US will have India as their country of origin. ...
