United Kingdom, Oct. 17 -- Apple is reportedly preparing to launch its first-ever touchscreen MacBook Pro.

According to Bloomberg, the next laptops - powered by Apple's next-generation M6 chip - could debut in late 2026 or early 2027 with an OLED touchscreen.

The project, said to be code-named K114 and K116, will see Apple embrace touch functionality long after rivals like Microsoft, Dell, and Lenovo made it a standard feature in premium laptops.

Sources suggest the new MacBook Pros will drop the LCD display in favour of OLED, a first for the Mac lineup, offering improved colour accuracy, thinner panels, and energy efficiency.
