The movie star passed away on Sunday (15.02.26), aged 95, and Viola has taken to Instagram to heap praise on her Widows co-star.

The 60-year-old actress - who also appeared alongside the likes of Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Jacki Weaver, and Liam Neeson in the heist thriller - wrote on Instagram: "I had the honor of working alongside you in Widows. I was in awe. I've always been in awe of your towering portrayals of men who were both quiet and dominating in their humanness. You were a giant. an icon.
