United Kingdom, Nov. 17 -- Timothee Chalamet believes Adam Sandler is one of the greatest actors of all time.

The Wonka actor heaped praise on the 59-year-old star because of the diverse range of his performances and admitted he grew up hoping to emulate Adam's turn in 2006 romantic dramady Punch Drunk Love.

The two stars reviewed and discussed their movies at the Sandler x Chalamet event in the Fairfax High School gymnasium in Los Angeles over the weekend and after a clip from Punch Drunk Love aired, Timothee said: "It is one of the most important performances. It's impactful, deeply moving.
