The 30-year-old actor was surrounded by three security guards at the Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles last week and plans to maintain the increased security presence for the remainder of awards season.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Timothee's popularity has skyrocketed in recent months following his role in Marty Supreme and his portrayal of folk legend Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
