United Kingdom, Feb. 16 -- Teyana Taylor cried when she met Julia Roberts at the Golden Globe Awards.

The 35-year-old star - who scooped the Best Supporting Actress accolade at last month's ceremony for her turn in One Battle After Another - had always admired the Pretty Woman actress and while she was overwhelmed with emotion when she realised her screen idol was on her way to speak to her, they quickly hit it off.

Teyana told People magazine: "Everybody knows that I love Julia Roberts.

"I'm obsessed with her. And she was on the carpet at the same time I was on the carpet, but it was the part where it's all the videos and stuff happening, so we wasn't in front of cameras.

"They brought her over and I looked, and I started backing up ...
