United Kingdom, Jan. 8 -- Jennifer Marshall has lamented her absence from season five of Stranger Things because it would have helped her "obtain health insurance".

The 44-year-old actress played Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink)'s mom Susan Hargrove in seasons two and four of the show, but was notably absent from the recent final episodes and she admitted she "would have been ecstatic to return", not just for the financial benefits amid her health struggles after battling cancer.
