United Kingdom, Dec. 10 -- Smokey Robinson has claimed a woman accusing him of sexual assault stole "thousands of dollars" worth of valuables from him.

The 85-year-old Motown icon and his wife Frances have request a temporary restraining order against his accuser, known as Jane Doe 4, and alleged that the woman recently accessed a storage unit they own before taking their belongings.

As reported by the Daily Mail newspaper, the couple's attorneys have claimed in legal documents filed this week that the incident was carried out "covertly, with malicious intent [and] without consent".

It's alleged that the robbery on November 22 was carried out by Jane Doe 4 and two collaborators.
