United Kingdom, Aug. 1 -- Sir Anthony Hopkins teased Kim Kardashian by channelling Hannibal Lecter to offer her a creepy dinner invitation.

The 87-year-old actor posted a video on Instagran which showed him wearing a facial support garment from Kim's shapewear brand SKIMS in a joking nod to the murderous cannibal he played in 1991 movie The Silence of the Lambs - who wore a mask to prevent him from biting his captors - and Hopkins used the clip to poke fun at the reality star.

He said: "Hello Kim, I'm already feeling 10 years younger. Goodbye."

Hopkins then recreated the noise Lecter made in the film when describing how he ate the liver of one of his victims with "fava beans and a nice Chianti".
