United Kingdom, Jan. 23 -- Simon Cowell has embraced a "wacky" wellness regime.

The 66-year-old music mogul embraced a healthy new lifestyle after he suffered devastating injuries in a e-bicycle accident in California in 2020 because he realised how "unfit" he was when recovering from spinal surgery - and he's now admitted he started exercising, changed his diet and has gone even further by having "toxins" removed from his blood twice a year.

He told The Times newspaper: "Your blood being rinsed of all the toxins and coming back cleaner, I think it's a good idea. It's a bit wacky - I'm into all that."

Cowell went on to talk about how the cycling accident changed his life for the better, explaining: "It wasn't great, but maybe it was me...
