United Kingdom, March 2 -- Sharon Stone was "so embarrassed" when her underwear was sold, she now keeps all her movie costumes.
The 66-year-old actress has a clause in her contracts that means she gets to take home all her screen outfits following an experience early in her career when the garments she wore were sold off to try and recoup the costs of making a film she'd starred in.
She told the Sunday Times' Style magazine: "After I did a television film in the 1980s they sold my wardrobe at a discount at the studio to make their money back, and they were selling my underwear.
"I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable that the crew guys were rummaging around in my underpants, I thought never again'.
