United Kingdom, Nov. 24 -- Selma Blair feels "very, very lucky" to have been in remission from Multiple Sclerosis for a "couple of years".

The Cruel Intentions star was diagnosed with the auto-immune condition - which affects the central nervous system - in 2018 but after undergoing chemotherapy and stem cell treatment, she hasn't suffered a relapse for some time.

She told Stellar magazine of being in remission: "That, of course, means the world to me that I'm not, at this moment, accumulating more damage in my brain. I have also made a lot of strides with the vibe of neuroplasticity.

"I'm very, very lucky. Everyone's experience with MS is different."
