United Kingdom, Dec. 5 -- Scarlett Johansson's mother-in-law criticised her and Colin Jost for naming their child Cosmo.

The 41-year-old actress initially delayed revealing the four-year-old tot's unique name to their family because Scarlett knew they would question it.

Appearing on Thursday morning's (04.12.25) episode of NBC's Today with Jenna and Friends, she told co-host Jenna Bush Hager: "When we named our son Cosmo, I actually didn't tell anybody for that very reason.

"I didn't want any of the weird faces. You know, when you tell someone they go like this, 'Oh, that's different.' You know when they do that, and you're like, 'What's happening? You don't like it?'"
