United Kingdom, May 2 -- Russell Brand has been granted conditional bail.

The 49-year-old comic was charged last month with five sexual offences and he appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday (02.05.25) for a brief hearing, and was told he can stay out of prison until the next hearing at the Old Bailey on 30 May.

Brand - who wore a black shirt and jeans and arrived with gold-rimmed sunglasses concealing his face - nodded to show he understood and thanked the judge before leaving court after the 12 minute hearing.

During the session, all five charges against the 'Get Him to the Greek' star were read out but no pleas were entered. He spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.
