United Kingdom, Dec. 5 -- Renee Zellweger quit Hollywood over fears she was becoming "dull".

The Bridget Jones's Diary star, 56, took a four-year break from work in 2010 and she walked away from the movie business once again after the release of her 2019 film Judy and she didn't return for six years - now Renee has confessed she needed time off from work because she was worried her lack of life experiences was making her a "boring" person.

She told The Telegraph newspaper: "I'd become stuck repeating the same patterns. When you go straight from making one film to the next, it's a cycle.

"You're in pre-production on one, post-production on another, doing reshoots on a third and promoting a fourth.
