United Kingdom, Jan. 30 -- Quinton Aaron is "alert, aware and recovering" as he remains in hospital after suffering a "spinal stroke".

The Blind Side star - who starred opposite Sandra Bullock in the 2009 Oscar winning film - was hospitalised last week after collapsing at his home and his family has now given an update on his condition revealing he's on the mend after his terrifying ordeal.
