United Kingdom, Feb. 23 -- Prince William doesn't feel "calm enough at the moment" to watch Hamnet.

The 43-year-old royal and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended Sunday's (22.02.26) BAFTA Awards at The Royal Festival Hall in London in their first joint appearance since his uncle Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on Thursday (19.02.26), and he was quizzed about some of the biggest films of the last 12 months.

William - who is president of BAFTA - noted Catherine had been in "floods of tears" on Saturday (21.02.26) after watching Chloe Zhao's Hamnet, which is based on Maggie O'Farrell's novel about the death of William Shakespeare's 11-year-old son from the plague.
