United Kingdom, Aug. 24 -- Prince Harry is facing renewed scrutiny over his United States visa application.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, moved to California in 2020 with his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 44, after stepping back from royal duties and his immigration status in the US has been under question since he admitted in his memoir Spare to using cocaine and marijuana.

Court records have now revealed the Department of State is holding more than 1,000 documents relating to his case.

The disclosures in legal filings show that 1,007 papers concerning Harry were identified within the Department of State, which oversees visa applications.
