United Kingdom, Sept. 5 -- The Prince and Princess of Wales have paid tribute to Katharine, Duchess of Kent, following her death.

Katharine, 91, died on Thursday (04.09.25) night at Kensington Palace, surrounded by her family and Prince William and Duchess Catherine issued a statement on the death of the "much missed member of the family".

They said: "Our thoughts today are with The Duke of Kent and his family, particularly George, Helen and Nicholas.

"The Duchess worked tirelessly to help others and supported many causes, including through her love of music. She will be a much missed member of the family."
