United Kingdom, April 9 -- Ed Sheeran doesn't want his kids to grow up in a "Richie Rich house".

The 34-year-old pop star - who has daughters Lyra, four, and Jupiter, two, with wife Cherry Seaborn - doesn't want to overindulge his children, despite being one of the best-selling musicians in the world.

During an appearance on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, Ed admitted: "Cherry is the biggest grounding force."

The 'Shape of You' hitmaker doesn't want his kids growing up like Richie Rich, the fictional character played by Macaulay Culkin in the 1994 comedy film.
