United Kingdom, June 16 -- Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson has defended her decision to book a gig on the anniversary of her father's death.
The King of Pop passed away on June 25 2009 at the age of 50 after suffering a drug overdose and Paris, 27, is due to be performing at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on that date later this month on what will be the 16th anniversary of the tragedy - but she's adamant she does not have control of her booking schedule because she's not a headline artist.
