United Kingdom, Aug. 2 -- Neal McDonough has backtracked on his claims that Hollywood abandoned him due to his no kissing rule.

The 59-year-old actor - who has been married to Ruve McDonough since 2003 - previously said Hollywood "completely turned" on him and he was unable to land any acting gigs but he and his wife are now insisting that "the right people" stuck by him.

In a joint interview with TMZ, Ruve said: "We want to say thank you, Hollywood. I don't like how people are saying that Hollywood turned its back on Neal. No, it didn't.
