United Kingdom, March 4 -- Millie Bobby Brown has become a "target" for bullying since her days of child stardom.

The 21-year-old actress became known around the world when she was cast in 'Stranger Things' at the age of 11, and cannot understand why fans think she is meant to be "frozen in time" a decade later.

Speaking in a video posted to Instagram, she said: "I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can't seem to grow with me.

"Instead, they act like I'm supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on 'Stranger Things' season one. And because I don't, I'm now a target."

The 'Electric State' star then insisted that she will refuse to bow down to the "unrealistic expectations" of people...
