United Kingdom, Dec. 18 -- Meg Ryan has shared a poignant tribute to her When Harry Met Sally director Rob Reiner.

The 65-year-old actress praised the late filmmaker and his wife Michele Singer Reiner - whose son Nick Reiner has been charged with their murders after they were found dead at home on Sunday (14.12.25) - for their way of always seeing the best in people.

She wrote on Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo of herself dancing with Rob while making When Harry Met Sally: "Oh how we will miss this man.

"Thank you, Rob and Michelle, for the way you believe in true love, in fairy tales, and in laughter. Thank you for your faith in the best in people, and for your profound love of our country."
