United Kingdom, Sept. 26 -- Mark Wahlberg won't "encourage" his aspiring actor son to follow him into the profession.

The 54-year-old actor - who has Ella, 22, Michael, 19, Brendan, 17, and 15-year-old Grace with his wife, 47-year-old model Rhea Durham - admitted one of his kids has expressed an interest in following in his footsteps but when he asked the teenager if he wanted to audition to work with him on 2023's Family Plan, the youngster declined so Mark has vowed not to "push" his offspring if he isn't going to take his career seriously.
