United Kingdom, Sept. 25 -- Mariah Carey "made peace" with her mother before she passed away.

The 56-year-old singer had an "interesting" relationship with her mom for most of her life, but they managed to reconcile their differences before Patricia passed way in August 2024.

Mariah said on CBS Mornings: "I don't know how I processed it, I just know that it was extremely difficult for me to navigate and it was tough because I have always had an interesting relationship with my mother."

Although they had a turbulent relationship, Mariah was by her mother's side at the end of her life.

Mariah's estranged sister, Alison, also died on the same day in August 2024, and the music star admits that it was an incredibly difficult time for her....
