United Kingdom, Dec. 22 -- Mandy Patinkin "didn't sleep at all" after Rob Reiner's murder as he "just kept wailing and crying" all night long.
The Homeland actor, 73, worked with the director on his 1987 fantasy film The Princess Bride and he was left devastated after hearing Reiner and his wife Michele had been found dead at their home in Los Angeles on December 14.
Speaking in TV special CBS News: Rob Reiner - Scenes from a Life - which aired on Sunday night (21.12.25), Patinkin recalled the moment he heard news of the couple's death. He said: "I heard this news at about 11-something on Sunday night. I was in bed. I was in shock. I didn't sleep at all.
