United Kingdom, Nov. 28 -- Macaulay Culkin hates being "touched" by fans and has set "rules" to keep himself "safe".

The Home Alone star, 45, has been dealing with fame for most of his life since shooting to fame as a child actor back in the 1990s and he admits he's learned how to excuse himself from uncomfortable situations and how to handle fans when they're "overly excited" to meet him.

He told Deadline: "I learned a bunch of tricks over the years. Okay, let's say somebody's talking to me and it becomes clear they want something from me that I don't want to give. I can see where this is headed.

"I just go: 'Hey, nice to meet you'. And then start walking away before they even realize, the interaction's already over with. I could just...
