United Kingdom, Sept. 25 -- Liam Hemsworth "jumped off social media" after he was announced as Henry Cavill's replacement in The Witcher.

The 35-year-old actor was confirmed as Henry's replacement on the hit TV show back in 2022, but Liam was initially overwhelmed by the reaction and decided to take a break from social media at the time.

Liam - who has replaced Henry as Geralt of Rivia - told Entertainment Weekly: "There was quite a bit of noise and I had to put that aside. It started to become a distraction.
