United Kingdom, April 28 -- King Charles specifically asked to meet with cancer patients and their families on his return to public engagements.

The 75-year-old monarch stepped back from public-facing duties in February when he was diagnosed with cancer but on Friday (26.04.24), Buckingham Palace confirmed he and Queen Camilla will be visiting a treatment centre on Tuesday (30.04.24) and the couple are said to be keen to show it is possible to live a full life while being treated for the disease, as well as shining a spotlight on how loved ones are also affected.
