United Kingdom, June 3 -- Kerry Katona has been "in agony" after undergoing emergency dental surgery.

The former Atomic Kitten star has revealed she's been suffering over the last week after some "lumps" in her jaw were found to be an infection.

She wrote in her new! magazine column: "I've been in a lot of pain this week - it's been so tough.

"The lumps in my jaw I wrote about last week turned out to be an infection, so I had to get three root canal procedures at once.

"I've been in agony ever since and just wanted to stay in bed - but with work so hectic right now, I can't do that."

She thanked Wish Dental for doing an "amazing" job taking care of her, while revealing the painful aftermath of the procedures.
