United Kingdom, Jan. 6 -- Kate Hudson doesn't regret making "sacrifices" for her family by staying at home to look after her kids.

The 46-year-old Hollywood actress is mother to Ryder, 21, with Black Crowes star Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 14, with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy, as well as daughter Rani with her fiance Danny Fujikawa - and Kate is adamant she is "proud" of her "family unit" and feels "grateful" she was able to be with her children when their musician fathers were on the road touring.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: "I live a very unconventional life and yet somehow managed to have a family unit I'm really proud of.
