United Kingdom, Nov. 28 -- Joe Keery wore his original Stranger Things costume to officiate his friend's wedding.

The 33-year-old actor-and-musician recently went viral after photos emerged of him marrying a couple while wearing the Scoops Ahoy uniform his alter ego Steve Harrington donned in season three of the show, and he's insisted he wasn't the only one dressed up for the occasion, despite the pictures circulating online suggesting otherwise.

Speaking on The Tonight Show, he said: "Amy Parris, who does costumes for the show, lent me the costume. There's a dozen costumes."

The wedding was between his friend and Post Animal bandmate Matt Williams and Veronica Capaldi and it was the bride who urged Joe to dress as Steve.
