United Kingdom, Feb. 3 -- Jesy Nelson has confirmed she and Zion Foster have split, after the "energy wasn't right" between them.

The former Little Mix singer has opened up about the pair's recent "traumatic experience", when their eight-month-old twin daughters Ocean and Story were diagnosed with rare genetic condition SMA1 (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) - the most severe form of the progressive muscle-wasting disease - and she and Zion are now determined to give their girls the "most positive, happy and uplifting time and energy".
