United Kingdom, Jan. 29 -- Jesy Nelson was "very on edge about everything" when she took her twins home for the first time.
The 34-year-old singer gave birth to twin daughters Ocean and Story in May 2025, but it took six months before they were diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 1, a rare genetic condition which means they may never walk.
Speaking to Sky News, Jesy shared: "When I took them home, I was very on edge about everything.
"But the one thing I wasn't taking notice of was the movement of the legs .it took for my mum to spot that sign and that's what's really worrying because we had healthcare visitors come a lot and none of them spotted those signs."
