United Kingdom, March 2 -- Gwyneth Paltrow has paid tribute to her former husband Chris Martin, on his 48th birthday -calling him "the man that gave me these beautiful, wonderful human beings".

The actress and Goop founder, 52, shared a message on Instagram on Sunday to mark the Coldplay frontman's birthday, posting two photos of him with their children, Apple, 20, and Moses, 18.

In the first image, Chris is seen sitting beside Apple, leaning his head on hers as she poses with her head resting in her hand.

The second picture shows him playing the piano with Moses, both focused on the keys in front of them. Paltrow captioned the post: "We (green heart emoji)you, Chris."
