United Kingdom, Dec. 4 -- Gwyneth Paltrow forgot who Tom Holland is - despite starring opposite him in several Marvel movies.

Robert Downey Jr., 60, jokingly teased that his long-time pal Gwyneth, 53, is "impossibly intelligent, yet forever confused by the basic tenets of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its inhabitants".

The Iron Man star poked fun at Gwyneth's spotty memory during The Hollywood Reporter's 2025 Women in Entertainment breakfast gala on Wednesday (03.12.25), where he honoured her as she received the 20th annual Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
