United Kingdom, Jan. 5 -- Gordon Ramsay was a "hot mess" before making his father-of-the-bride speech at his daughter Holly Ramsay's wedding.

The 59-year-old celebrity chef admitted it was a "tough gig", but he was delighted with his delivery on his 26-year-old daughter's big day, insisting the speech was "perfect".

Speaking about his big moment, Gordon said on This Morning: "It's tough, honestly.

"Being the dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment and that moment arrives and you're just like a hot mess.

"But the speech was perfect. It went well and you've got to find that ... You've got to be warm, emotional ... It's a tough gig."
