United Kingdom, Dec. 4 -- Goldie Hawn broke down in tears as she honoured her late friend Diane Keaton.

The 80-year-old actress was left devastated when her First Wives Club co-star passed away in October at the age of 79, and she admitted Diane, who she lived very close to, was always on her mind even before her death.

Speaking at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment event on Wednesday (03.12.25), Goldie tearfully said: "Diane lived right below me. My house was higher up, and I went down, and I said, you know, we can talk to each other.

"We would laugh, because we were so close, and, literally, I said, 'Let me get a megaphone.'

"It was just the greatest thing knowing that she was just below me.
