United Kingdom, Jan. 12 -- Jessie Buckley hailed Julia Roberts a "hero" as she beat her to the Golden Globe Award for Best Female Actor - Drama on Sunday (11.01.26).
The 36-year-old actress' performance in Hamnet saw her take the prize ahead of the Hollywood legend, who was shortlisted for After the Hunt, and she paid a heartfelt tribute to all her fellow nominees, including Jennifer Lawrence (Die, My Love), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), Tessa Thompson (Hedda), and Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby).
Speaking on stage at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, Jessie said: "Oh my God, the incredible women I am honoured to stand beside in this category.
