United Kingdom, Sept. 30 -- George Clooney has quipped that his children still like him.

The 64-year-old actor has eight-year-old twins Alexander and Ella with his wife Amal Clooney and joked that he still has the love of his family - unlike his titular character in the new movie Jay Kelly.

Asked about the differences between himself and his alter ego, George told People at the flick's New York Film Festival premiere: "We have the same hair and we're the same height.

"There (aren't) that many similarities in a weird way, because he's a guy who's just so sad about his career and his life, because he didn't have friends and family."
