United Kingdom, Jan. 26 -- Evangeline Lilly has "spent a lot of money" on trying to find the right treatment for a brain injury she sustained in a fall.

The Lost actress, 46, revealed in May she had sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) after fainting and falling "face-first into a boulder" and she recently underwent tests to examine how she has been impacted - now Evangeline has admitted she's wracked up huge bills trying to get medical advice on the best possible treatment.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "I have spent a lot of money getting evaluated and getting targeted, expert advice on how to heal my brain.
