United Kingdom, Sept. 15 -- Cristin Milioti wrote her Emmy Awards acceptance speech "on the back of [her] therapy notes".
The 40-year-old actress took home the Best Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie prize at Sunday's (14.09.25) ceremony for her work on The Penguin and she admitted working on the programme had been a "bright spot" during a dark time for the world.
Cristin - who won the award ahead of Cate Blanchett (Disclaimer), Meghann Fahy (Sirens), Rashida Jones (Black Mirror) and Michelle Williams (Dying for Sex) - said: "Sorry, I wrote this on the back of notes I took in therapy the other day, so don't look at the back.
