United Kingdom, Dec. 7 -- Donald Trump has branded Jimmy Kimmel "horrible" in his latest swipe at the late-night TV host.

The 79-year-old president is set to host the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday (07.12.25) and at a pre-ceremony event at the Oval Office in Washington on Saturday (06.12.25), Trump took aim at Kimmel.

Speaking at the 48th Kennedy Center Honors Medallion Reception, Trump said: "I've watched some of the people that host, Jimmy Kimmel was horrible. If I can't beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent then I don't think I should be President."

Kimmel hasn't actually hosted the prestigious ceremony before, but he did pay tribute to David Letterman in 2012.
