United Kingdom, July 10 -- Dolly Parton is putting new music "on hold" following the death of her husband Carl Dean.
The 9 to 5 hitmaker finds it too "emotional" penning lyrics as she grieves her spouse of almost 59 years, who died aged 82 in March.
Appearing on Khloe Kardashians' Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, on Wednesday (09.07.25), she said: "[There are] several things I have wanted to start, but I can't do it.
"I will later. I'm just coming up with such wonderful beautiful ideas, but I think I won't finish it. I can't do it right now, because I got so many other things."
