United Kingdom, Jan. 23 -- Craig Robinson says an ex-girlfriend thought he was secretly married like Michelle Obama's brother of the same name.

The 54-year-old actor said the confusion happened because a media outlet incorrectly used a photo of him instead of the former US First Lady's brother, 63, on a story about the college basketball coach and his wife, Kelly's, family life.

During an appearance on NBC's Today with Jenna + Sheinelle, The Office alum Craig told the hosts: "One time I was dating a girl, and she called me up crying thinking that I was [the] married Craig Robinson."

Co-host Sheinelle, 47, Jones joked: "She was like, 'How could you?'"
